Solar Powered Electric Bikes

Spring 2022

I built two different versions of solar powered electric bikes:

Version 1 was a trailer based design that worked OK. It's main problem was that the trailer was too heavy and bulky for the bike to handle. See an Overview video here. See a video of me accidentally flipping and destroying the trailer here.

Version 2 was a light weight version with just one solar module extending off the back of the bike. See an Overview video here
