I repurposed an old Venture 15' Sailboat that I found on Craigslist. Here is a video explaining some of the steps I took to repair the old boat and trailer as well as install the new solar system to power it electrically. Here is a video of the maiden voyage of the vessel. Lastly, here is a video of the third voyage. Sadly, this expedition ended with an electrical fire due to my haphazardly designed battery box...
Solar Catamaran 2.0 will ride again after some repairs and upgrades: a new watertight battery, a new motor, an additional pontoon, a new motor, etc.
